Im Jim K5KTF, and I have setup this page to provide information and a sign up sheet if you would like to volunteer to work this fun event.

Half & Full Marathon, Brown Santa 5K, and Kids K

Race Start Times
Double Decker Start: 7:30AM

Half Marathon Start: 8:00AM

Brown Santa 5K Start: 8:15AM

Kids K: 10:15AM

Course closes at 12:00pm

Please use the sign up form above, so I can better guess and assign positions. The race bosses have this page address, so they can see how well we are coming along.
The more we have signed up here, the better....

Please check in at the NC van by 7am, and you will have a chance to get your shirt, breakfast, drinks, and head out to your station.

We usually have APRS running, so if you have APRS capability, bring it along!

We plan on bringing out some HSMM-MESH nodes and IP cameras, to stream live video from around the course back to the NC van and possibly the race bosses in the building.
If you have a mesh node and an IP cam, bring it along! We would really love to have a bunch of them out there to show off our capabilities and get some good use out of them.

If you look at the map below, it is advised to enter the complex at Gate 1, and follow that down to a smaller entrance gate on the right.

When your coming up the drive through the parking lot, there are 2 buildings. The building to the right is where the van is, and on the right side of that building. Look for the 40+ foot mast.

I will have a radio on 147.36 + with a PL of 131.8 as a talk in or for more info. Once everyone is out at their stations, we will switch to 146.55 and be simplex.
